Hi, I'm Sierra, the heart behind Silver Lining Lens. I grew up in Eastern Oregon, where wide skies and quiet landscapes helped teach me to notice the simple beauty in everyday life. That perspective carries into my photography today. I love capturing the little moments, soft smiles, the in between glances, the silver linings that make each story unique.

My style is natural and heartfelt, and my goal is always to help people feel comfortable, confident, and truly seen. Whether it's a milestone or an ordinary day made special I want your photos to feel timeless, genuine and full of warmth.

Meet My Assistant

This is Hadley, my sweet little sidekick. She is the best help on photo shoots! When she's not busy with cheerleading or tumbling, she's carrying camera bags, making people laugh, and most importantly, holding light reflectors! Hadley has really taken an interest in photography, and I love watching her curiosity grow. She keeps things fun, lighthearted, and full of energy! While she does not accompany me on all shoots she is often by my side :)

From Someone Close to the Person Behind the Lens...

"Sierra is my stepdaughter, so of course I am biased. She always had an interest in art and as she has matured as an adult, she surrounds herself with life, living plants, and nature. Sierra has worked in Hospice as a CNA, a medical assistant in a primary care office, and most recently as a drug and alcohol counselor. This includes a stint working in the prison system. I believe these experiences have afforded Sierra the opportunity to view humanity in raw and vulnerable moments. From this experience she has developed an 'eye' for the beauty to express itself and capture it on film. After a photography session with Sierra, I think you'll be surprised by how many candid pictures you will be sharing with friends and family."
